Staff and Services
After
being in business for more than 50 years, we have a well rounded
knowledge and expertise on how to best meet the needs of our patients
and help them feel more comfortable while at RGP. Our on-site state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility is custom designed to help make the fitting
process easy and comfortable for our patients. Our staff & services
include:
Tours & Evaluations
Because we want our patients to be confident in our manufacturing
process, we provide a free evaluation and tour for every amputee
who visits our facility. We think it is important for amputees to
be educated in our company and its methods and feel part of our
close-knit family. We also provide tours for anyone else who is
interested, including groups.
Insurance
We have a qualified insurance and billing department which investigates
your insurance benefits to ensure that you are receiving the maximum
to which you are entitled. A large part of a claim denial is related
to cost and lack of knowledge in prosthetics. Our staff spends quality
time educating your insurance company about prosthetics and the
importance of receiving a quality state-of-the-art prosthetic device.

Travel
Because over 50% of our patients come from across the United States
and around the world, we have established discounted rates with
some of San Diego's nicest hotels to ensure you a quality stay at
a reasonable rate. This information can be obtained by sending an
e-mail to info@rgp.com
Employees
With 22 employees on staff serving six different departments, we
are able to provide you with highly experienced and educated individuals
who are experts in the fields of insurance, technical support, CAD-CAM,
marketing and of course, prosthetics. Because we are not controlled
by a large conglomerate, we are able to give quality attention to
each individual.
Amputees on Staff
We have qualified members of our staff who are amputees and know
first-hand your individual needs and some of the experiences you
encounter on a daily basis.
Practicioners
Because the most important part of the prosthesis is the fit, it
is important to be able to communicate your needs properly to your
practitioner. At RGP, we specialize in listening to the needs of
our patients to ensure they are receiving a secure, comfortable
fit. Every socket we design is custom made to fit each individual
patient. Because no two amputees are the same, we have no two sockets
that are the same. All of our practitioners, Michael Stull and Patrick
Bridges, are qualified prosthetists trained by Thomas Guth.
