To protect our state-of-the art designs, RGP developed a prosthetic skin covering which not only looks more realistic but is much lighter in weight and more durable than what is currently available. The material is similar to what is used to make animatronics seen in the movies and at theme parks. The difference is that the material used for animatronics is injected into a mold while the prosthetic skin is sprayed onto life-like foam covers. Our very talented group of technicians are able to craft an exact duplicate of the sound leg so that once, finished, the prosthetic leg looks very natural. Most people can't even tell which is the prosthetic leg.
